Vancouver, B.C. — January 25, 2006 — Charles R. Widman Associates Inc. and Sylva Solutions, Inc. are pleased to announce the sale of Widman’s Market Barometer and its supplement Market Update to Sylva Solutions, Inc., effective February 1, 2006. Sylva Solutions is a newly incorporated company formed by Widman editors. Widman’s two newsletters are the new flagship of Sylva Solutions’ division, Widman Publishing.

Widman Publishing looks forward to continuing to provide you with weekly North American lumber market forecasting and additional current national and international updates. As we enter this new chapter in the legacy of Widman publications, we will continue to look to you, the subscriber, for feedback, as a valuable means to ensure that our newsletter content remains stimulating and relevant.

Established seven years ago by former editor and founder Charles R. Widman, the Barometer and Update newsletters will continue to be released on Wednesdays, including the traditional Year-end Review.
